Bonded anchor point without roof penetration
This permanent anchor point for flat roofs is bonded to the roof covering, instead of being fixed mechanically through the roof structure. EN 795 tested, from €69 each excl. VAT.

What is a bonded anchor point?
A bonded anchor point is a permanent fall arrest anchor that is not screwed through the roof structure, but attached by adhesion to the roof covering. No penetration is needed, which eliminates the risk of leaks and allows installation on existing roofs without structural modifications.
Our anchor point is based on a fastening principle for roof safety equipment on membrane roofs, developed and formerly patented by CW Lundberg, as documented in Swedish patent SE 520 398.

How does a bonded anchor point hold?
Adhesion to the roof covering forms the load-bearing connection. This requires two things: adhesion at all contact surfaces and sufficient cohesion in the bonding layer. Both only work when the anchor plate is in contact with the roof covering over its entire surface. That is why our anchor point sets minimum requirements for the roof covering and the installation method must be followed consistently.
Per roof covering
Every roof covering has its own minimum requirements for tensile strength, tear strength and shear force. Check beforehand whether your roof is suitable.
All roof types and requirementsWhen is an anchor point permitted?
An anchor point is personal protective equipment: level 4 in the Dutch V&G design guideline, Annex H. A fall arrest anchor is only permitted after it has been shown that collective edge protection is technically not feasible. Economic reasons are not valid grounds.
