Bonded anchor point for bitumen roofs
Our anchor point is torch-bonded to the existing bituminous roof covering, without penetrating the roof covering. Order directly online from €69 each excl. VAT.

Suitable for your bitumen roof?
The connection to the bituminous roof covering is load-bearing. That is why our anchor point sets minimum requirements for the roof covering and its condition.
- The roof covering meets the minimum values for tensile strength, tear strength and shear force
- No cracks, blisters or loose layers at the mounting position
- The roof covering is demonstrably connected to the insulation and roof deck
- Roof covering older than 15 years: an on-site adhesion test is mandatory before installation
Minimum requirements bitumen
- Tensile strength≥ 300 N/50mm
- Tear strength≥ 150 N/50mm
- Shear strength≥ 500 N/50mm
- Peel strength≥ 125 N/50mm
Torch-bonded in four steps
Our anchor point is fully bonded to the bituminous roof covering. Because the underside of the plate is not visible after placement, the installation method must be followed consistently.
01
Heat the substrate carefully
02
Apply and roll the second bitumen membrane
03
Press the plate down fully and evenly
04
Check adhesion thoroughly

Frequently asked questions about bitumen
Yes, provided the bituminous roof covering meets the minimum requirements for tensile strength, tear strength and shear force, is in good condition and is demonstrably connected to the roof structure. If the roof covering is older than 15 years, an on-site adhesion test is mandatory beforehand.
Torch-bonded. The existing roof covering is heated evenly, after which a second bitumen membrane is applied fully over the perforated anchor plate and rolled in. The plate is then pressed down over its entire surface. The roof covering is not penetrated anywhere.
A single anchor point costs €119 excl. VAT. In bundles the price per unit drops: €99 in a bundle of 5, €79 in a bundle of 25 and €69 in a bundle of 100.
Yes. In a lifeline system, the start, end and corner anchors are subjected to continuously higher loads due to the pretension. Only put the system into use once it has been established that the anchor plate is fully and durably bonded to the roof covering.
When the roof covering is replaced, the anchor points must be removed and reinstalled after the renovation. Reusing previously bonded anchor points is not permitted.
