What determines the number of anchor points?
The roof planner works with three inputs, which you set yourself while drawing.
Example: a 95 metre roof edge with 3 corners and 10 metre spacing requires 13 anchor points.
See what that costs on the prices pageRoof edge length
The length of the roof edge per section, measured on the map as you draw.
Number of corners
Corners in the roof edge are detected automatically and included in the calculation.
Spacing
You choose a spacing of 5 or 10 metres between anchor points.
First: is a guardrail possible?
An anchor point is personal protective equipment. A fall arrest system is only permitted once it has been demonstrated that collective roof edge protection, such as a permanent guardrail, is technically not feasible. Economic reasons are not valid grounds.
