Suitable for your EPDM roof?
The connection to the EPDM roof covering is load-bearing. That is why our anchor point sets minimum requirements for the roof covering and its condition.
- The roof covering meets the minimum values for tensile strength, tear strength, shear force and peel strength
- No cracks, blisters or loose layers at the mounting position
- The roof covering is demonstrably connected to the insulation and roof deck
- Roof covering older than 15 years: an on-site adhesion test is mandatory before installation
Minimum requirements EPDM
- Tensile strength≥ 400 N/50mm
- Tear strength≥ 12 N/mm²
- Shear strength≥ 200 N/50mm
- Peel strength≥ 80 N/50mm
Installed according to M-349
On EPDM, our anchor point is installed according to installation procedure M-349. Because the underside of the anchor plate is not visible after placement, the procedure must be followed consistently. Request the procedure from us, or let us assess beforehand whether your roof covering is suitable.

Yes. In a lifeline system, the start, end and corner anchors are subjected to continuously higher loads due to the pretension. Only put the system into use once it has been established that the anchor plate is fully and durably bonded to the roof covering.
When the roof covering is replaced, the anchor points must be removed and reinstalled after the renovation. Reusing previously bonded anchor points is not permitted.
