Two red anchor points bonded to a light roof covering on a flat roof

Suitable for your PVC roof?

The connection to the PVC roof covering is load-bearing. That is why our anchor point sets minimum requirements for the roof covering and its condition.

  • The roof covering meets the minimum values for tensile strength, tear strength, shear force and peel strength
  • The generation of PVC is known (plasticised PVC or TPO)
  • No cracks, blisters or loose layers at the mounting position
  • The roof covering is demonstrably connected to the insulation and roof deck
  • Roof covering older than 15 years: an on-site adhesion test is mandatory before installation
All limitations per roof type

Minimum requirements PVC / FPO / ECB

  • Tensile strength≥ 500 N/50mm
  • Tear strength≥ 110 N/50mm
  • Shear strength≥ 450 N/50mm
  • Peel strength≥ 150 N/50mm

Installed according to M-349

On PVC, our anchor point is installed according to installation procedure M-349. Because the underside of the anchor plate is not visible after placement, the procedure must be followed consistently. Request the procedure from us, or let us assess beforehand whether your roof covering is suitable.
